Manager Business development & Distributor excellence 

Grindex AB is a part of Xylem and supplies submersible pumps for the dewatering business, mainly to mining and construction applications. Grindex AB is, unlike Xylem, operating through distributors in more than 70 countries all over the world.

The Manager Business development & Distributor excellence is a key leadership role in Grindex, part of the management team and a key role in developing and implementing the Grindex strategy globally. This role will be responsible for driving the business development of our Grindex company and also driving the implementation of our Distributor excellence program across the three main regions Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.



  • In close cooperation with regional managers, drive the business development in Grindex.
  • Drive development and implementation of the Distributor excellence program across all Regions and the Grindex company, including development and implementation of the Grindex Academy and optimization of the Grindex offering of both products and services.
  • Develop and manage the personnel in the Technical support team.
  • Promote a culture of trust and accountability by ensuring that the company’s assets and resources are maintained and developed over time.
  • As part of the Grindex management team, take an active role, responsibility and accountability in developing Grindex global business.



We are looking for a candidate with a Master’s degree or equivalent experience and with financial training as a complement (MBA is a plus). You have a minimum of seven years of global or international business experience and proven experience in international distributor channel sales. Previous experience in being part of a management team responsible for developing, and driving implementation of, a strategic plan and for implementing change is also needed. We will put a lot of emphasize on the personal traits and social skills of the candidates in this recruitment.

        • Understanding of the water handling business globally or similar adjacent businesses.
              • General knowledge of pumping technology and applications is a plus.
              • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications
              • fluent in English, written and spoken.
